From our 2 offices in Halfweg and Roosendaal we are building further growth together with our international sales teams.

The function

Sales Support
Managing the Sales Support team means actively delivering best-in-class service. You will work with the sales team to ensure a seamless customer experience from inquiry to delivery. In doing so, you provide support in answering product related questions, addressing issues and facilitating smooth transactions. You will provide product information, pricing details and quotes to potential customers to facilitate the sales process and see and capitalize on opportunities when it comes to up and cross selling.

Customer Service
Managing the Customer Service team involves providing customers and consumers with prompt and effective support. This includes handling inquiries and warranties, resolving issues and, of course, providing appropriate guidance to the Customer Service team.

Team leadership and development
As a manager you are responsible for managing and developing both the team in Halfweg and in Roosendaal. Your place of employment is Halfweg, but you are willing to travel to Roosendaal twice a week. This includes tasks such as hiring and training new staff, setting performance goals, providing regular feedback and promoting a positive and productive work environment.

Optimization and sales processes
Analyze existing processes and systems in both sales support and customer service areas, identify areas for improvement and implement solutions to streamline workflows, improve efficiency and enhance the overall sales experience.

Cross-functional collaboration
Collaboration with other department such as marketing, inventory management, logistics and innovation is essential. You and your team will ensure that there is good alignment across the organization and enable smooth coordination of activities related to sales support and customer service.

Troubleshooting
Dealing with customer and consumer problems and solving them effectively requires strong problem-solving skills. You must be able to quickly assess situations, propose solutions and implement them in a timely manner.

Statistics and reports
Tracking a Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) related to our monthly sales targets and our customer-consumer satisfaction is necessary for assessing performance and making data-driven decisions. As a manager, you will be responsible for analyzing these metrics and generating advice for senior management.

Customer relationship management (CRM)
This role requires knowledge of CRM software. You will use CRM tools to track customer interactions, follow up customer visits with the team and ensure that customer data is accurately maintained.

Customer satisfaction and retention
Ultimately, the goal of Sales Support and Customer Service is to ensure customer satisfaction and retention. As a manager, you play a key role in developing strategies to achieve these goals and maintaining strong relationships with customers.

Overall, the Sales Support Manager role is multifaceted and requires a combination of leadership, communication, analytical and problem-solving skills to succeed.

Compliance and quality assurance
You will ensure compliance with company policies, procedures and legal requirements in all commercial activities. You will perform quality control checks on documents, orders and data entry to maintain accuracy and integrity.

What do you bring
  • You have at least a completed college degree in business administration, marketing or similar;
  • You will have about 5 years of work experience in a similar role, preferably in consumer good industry;
  • You have strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop teams;
  • You have excellent communication, negotiation and interpersonal skills;
  • You have demonstrated and proficiency in CRM software and sales analysis tools, with NetSuite experience being a plus;
  • You are known as someone with an analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and processes and generate actionable insights;
  • You are a strategic thinker with problem-solving skills;
  • You are results-oriented with a focus on achieving sales goals and business objectives;
  • You thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment;
  • You find it no problem at all to go to Roosendaal once or twice a week.
